Where did this summer go?

Has anyone else noticed that this summer has just about flew by? I can’t believe that it’s gone already!
We start school on Tuesday. I was going to start on Monday but life got in the way. So, now we start on Tuesday. I have to sit down and put together my daughter’s notebook for the week. I’m actually kind of looking forward to getting back into the swing of things. While I’ve enjoyed the leisure of this summer, I’m kind of craving a schedule again. I honestly think that my daughter is too. Thankfully all of our activities start up on different dates throughout September so that we can slowly ease into everything but I’ll be glad when it’s all rolling.
I have my daughter in 3 activities this year. It should be good for her to be with so many kids even though they’re not homeschooled. I think that she won’t be bored and won’t have time to hang out in front of the TV or computer so much, which will be a good thing. At the same time it should also be good for me as I like to pick up more work throughout the school year since I have the time. I do like to keep busy and will have at least 12 hours per week - not to mention most Friday nights and Saturdays - to fill with work. Of course, I also have to alot for my Seminary classes as well but I am looking forward to it.
