What a busy week!

Have you ever had one of those weeks that just seemed to have flew by and no matter how hard you tried to keep up you were always just 1 step behind somehow? Well, that’s the type of week that I just had. Not that I didn’t get a lot done, but I obviously didn’t get everything done. For instance, I didn’t get a chance to stop by here and blog.

I also can’t believe that September is over! Do you know what that means? Well, a few things actually:
* Most of us have been homeschooling for at least a month now. What have you learned during this time? I’ve learned that somehow homeschooling never gets easier. I’ve also learned that the best laid plans don’t always work out the way that you had planned. For me this means going with time, taking each day as it comes and simply assuring that my daughter is continuously learning at least 1 new thing each and every day.
* The holidays are almost here once again. Can you believe it? I sure am not ready for this. It’s not that I don’t enjoy the holidays but they’re way too busy for me. I wish that we could all just slow down and enjoy them for what they are instead of running around having to purchase presents for people who already have everything that they need. This is a lesson that I’d like to try to implement in my homeschooling as this holiday season approaches.
* Cold weather is knocking on most of our doors. Are you ready? I know that I’m not!

Time… It’s so easy to let it escape us so we really need to try and do our best to live in and enjoy each and every moment that we are alive. God knows that our kids are growing too fast so we need to try to enjoy them as well.
