Tips for homeschool success

Fall is here and this is the time of the year when it’s a good idea to take a look at what’s going on in our homeschools. It’s also time to consider some new tips to make sure that your homeschool is a success. Here are a few to get you started:
- Offer your children incentives for getting their school work and chores done promptly.
- When it is time for school do not work on anything else other than school. Do not even bother answering the phone during this time.
- Set boundaries and hold firm to them while you are doing schoolwork.
- Chores should be done before and after, NOT during, school time. Children should help with these chores.
- Spend at least one night a week watching a DVD together as a family.
